1. Making a purchase
When you shop at Greylands Ridge, we have tried to make the process as easy as possible:
Legal Age to Purchase Alcohol:
In New Zealand you must be 18 years of age or older to purchase alcohol. At Greylands Ridge we adhere to these rules, so when you order wine from our online shop, you are required to agree to our terms and conditions which means that you understand you must be over 18 to purchase our wine, and that you confirm this by agreeing to the terms and conditions, removing any liability from Greylands Ridge Ltd.
To view items in your own currency, please select from the drop down menu on the wine page. The overseas currency is indicative only and the final amount billed to the Cardholder is subject to currency fluctuations. We advise you to check amounts in your own currency before purchasing. The amount of your purchases in your chosen currency is displayed at the top left of all product pages.
Ensure you highlight your selection in each of the drop down menu boxes and insert your quantity in the appropriate box. Click on ‘add to basket’ and a message box will pop up showing your selection. Click ok. You may continue to shop, or go the checkout to see that all details are correct (if they are not correct you may use the ‘remove’ button and then either click ‘continue shopping’ or the ‘back’ button in your browser).
If you are happy with your purchase and wish to proceed with payment, click the ‘checkout’ button. Here you will be asked for your contact details and mailing instructions. You will be given the option to have products shipped to a different mailing address and gift card included with your personal message. Please ensure you fill out the appropriate sections correctly.
Click ‘submit’ and you will be taken to a secure page hosted by the Bank of New Zealand where your credit card details will be processed. We currently accept Visa and Mastercard as well as Direct Credit payments using online banking or cheques. Credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit Secure Socket Layer encryption. This ensures that your details cannot be viewed, stolen or copied.
2. Delivery and Freight
Worldwide air freight and insurance costs are NOT included in the prices quoted. As postage and freight is beyond our personal control, please allow up to 10 weeks delivery time. If we encounter delays due to the availability of our wine, we will notify you immediately, giving you the option to cancel your order. We cannot take responsibility for delivery delays due to causes beyond our control. Any import taxes and duties that may be incurred are your responsibility.
Freight costs are set for NZ residents and calculated according to location, with North Island customers paying $15 postage and packaging, and South Island customers paying $12 p+p. This calculation is made when you place a completed order, and before you submit any payment details. The freight costs are based on the "Ship to" address for the order.
We always try to find the best method to get your wine to you, with trusted carriers who understand the special needs associated with shipping wine.
International customers need to contact us to obtain a shipping quote in advance of making a purchase.
3. Returns Policy
If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please return to us within 10 days of receipt of goods. Payment and risk of returning goods is your responsibility. We will offer an exchange or credit provided that goods are returned in original condition. Please note, this means that no seals on either the bottles or cases have been broken.
4. Cancellation of Order
You may cancel your wine order up to the point of despatch, and we will refund you within 30 days.
